In 1920 my father set sail from Copenhagen aboard the schooner DAGNY as part of the East Greenland Company. Six weeks later the DAGNY was crushed by ice and sank, stranding the crew 60 kilometers east of Shannon Island. They were finally rescued some two years later..
My father spent his life in the Canadian north. The tradition of outdoor living and cooking was instilled in me from earliest boyhood. I myself was a bush pilot for many years and have fished from the tropics to the Arctic..
This bag contains a recipe developed over many years to enhance the natural taste of freshly caught fish. For years I've been providing this mix to friends and relatives for their fishing and camping trips. Everyone who tries it loves it. Best regards & good fishing!.
