6 tbsp (90 mL) PC Salted Country Churned Butter
1/2 pkg (225 g) PC Cooked Peeled Black Tiger Shrimp - 90-130 thawed, coarsely chopped
1 shallot finely chopped
3 tbsp (45 mL) dry sherry (optional)
1/2 cup (125 mL) cream cheese softened
2 tbsp (25 mL) lemon juice
2 tbsp (25 mL) fresh parsley chopped


  1. In large frying pan, melt 1 tbsp (15 mL) of the butter over medium-high heat; cook shallots for 3 minutes or until softened. Add sherry, if using; cook until almost all the liquid evaporates. Stir in shrimp. Remove from heat.
  2. In bowl, beat remaining butter with cream cheese. Stir in shrimp mixture, lemon juice and parsley. Transfer to a large ramekin or other serving dish. Serve with crackers.


Chef's Tips

Instead of dry sherry, you can substitute brandy
