Ingredients

3/4 cup (175 mL) PC Extra-Rich Hot Chocolate Mix Made with Real Cocoa
3 cups (750 mL) boiling water
4 PC Peppermint Melts
1/2 cup (125 mL) whipping cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place 3 tbsp (45 mL) instant hot chocolate into each of four mugs. Stir in boiling water. Add one peppermint melt to each mug; stir until chocolate is melted.
  2. In bowl, whip cream, if using. Divide whipped cream among mugs and serve.

Chef's Tips

If making this for a crowd, prepare the hot chocolate in a large saucepan on the stove. Drop a Peppermint Melt into each mug and pour in the hot chocolate.
