Babies need a high fat diet to develop properly. Avocados are full of heart-healthy unsaturated fat, and contain vitamin C, riboflavin and thiamine. You can mash the bananas and avocado completely or leave chunkier depending on your baby’s comfort level.

1 ripe PC Organics Bananas
1 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
2 tbsp (25 mL) PC Organics Applesauce - Unsweetened


  1. In bowl and using fork, mash together banana and avocado. Stir in applesauce. (For a smoother texture, press through fine-meshed sieve. Add a little water to adjust consistency if needed.)
  2. Store leftovers in refrigerator, with plastic wrap directly on surface of mash.
