This is a great meatless barbecue entree to have in your repertoire. The jerk sauce packs a punch, so serve with some rice or couscous to cool the palate.

1 pkg (454 g) PC The World's Best Meatless Meatballs
4 tsp (20 mL) PC MEMORIES OF Montego Bay Fiery Jerk Sauce
4 tsp (20 mL) PC Splendido Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Cold Pressed
2 sweet red peppers, cut in 1-inch (2.5 cm) chunks
1 red onion, cut in 1-inch (2.5 cm) squares


  1. Preheat barbecue to medium-high heat.
  2. Place meatballs in microwave safe dish. Microwave on HIGH for 3-1/2 minutes. Thread a piece of red onion, a red pepper and a meatball on a metal or soaked wooden skewer; repeat twice, then place another red onion and red pepper after the last meatball. Repeat with remaining meatballs and vegetables to make 10 skewers in total.
  3. In small bowl, stir together Memories sauce and olive oil. Brush some over skewers. Place skewers on greased grill. Cook with lid open for 6 to 8 minutes, turning occasionally, or until vegetables are tender. Remove from grill. Brush with remaining Memories mixture.

Chef's Tips

If using wooden skewers, soak in water 30 minutes.
