Old-fashioned European white bread, grilled on the barbecue, gives this brown-sugar ham and Cheddar cheese sandwich an indescribably good texture.

1 tbsp (15 mL)	PC Splendido Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Cold Pressed
2 slices	PC L'Européenne Bread - Rustic White
2 tsp (10 mL)	PC Prepared Russian-Style Sweet Mustard
2 slices	PC 1-Year Old Canadian White Cheddar Cheese
3 slices	PC Black Forest Smoked Ham with Brown Sugar

Brush half of oil over one side of bread. Grill oiled side down over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and grill-marked. Brush top with rest of oil, flip and repeat.
Spread bread with mustard. Layer cheese and ham on one slice. Place other slice, mustard side down, on top of ham. Cut in half.

Use a pastry brush to oil the bread before grilling.
