1 cup (250 mL) PC Organics Whole Wheat flour
1 cup (250 mL) PC Organics Quick Oats
3/4 cup (175 mL) PC Organics Sugar
1 tsp (5 mL) baking powder
3/4 cup (175 mL) organic butter, melted
1 jar (235 mL) PC Organics Fruit Spread - Raspberry
1 cup (250 mL) PC Organics Wheat Squares
1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped organic natural almonds


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease 8-inch (2 L) square metal cake pan.
  2. In bowl and using fork, combine flour, oats, sugar and baking powder. Stir in butter. Press half of mixture into bottom of prepared pan, setting remainder aside. Bake in centre of oven for 10 minutes.
  3. In bowl, combine fruit spread, wheat squares cereal and almonds. Mix well, breaking up squares if necessary. Spread over cooked base. Sprinkle with reserved oat mixture, gently pressing down. Bake for another 20 to 25 minutes or until golden. Cool in pan on rack. Cut into bars. Makes 16 bars.
