Ingredients

3 tbsp (45 mL) PC Splendido Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Cold Pressed
2 tbsp (25 mL) lemon juice
1 tbsp (15 mL) PC Dijon Prepared Mustard
2 tbsp (25 mL) finely chopped shallots
2 tbsp (25 mL) chopped fresh basil
4 pork loin chops (bone-in), about 3/4 inch (2 cm) thick (about 560 g)
1/8 tsp (0.5 mL) freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup (125 mL) dry white wine

Instructions

  1. In shallow glass baking dish, whisk together wine, olive oil, lemon juice, mustard, shallots, basil and pepper. Add pork chops; turn to coat. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 1 to 2 hours, turning once or twice.
  2. Preheat barbecue.
  3. Remove chops from marinade, discarding remaining marinade. Place chops on greased grill over medium heat. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until outside is golden brown and inside has a faint hint of pink.

Chef's Tips

For easy clean-up, marinate pork chops in resealable plastic bag.
