Additional Information

1/2 cup (125 mL) PC Blue Menu Just Peanuts Peanut Butter - Crunchy
1/2 cup (125 mL) light (white) corn syrup
1/2 cup (125 mL) packed light brown sugar
1 tbsp (15 mL) unsalted butter
2 tsp (10 mL) vanilla
1 tsp (5 mL) liquid green food colouring
3 cups (750 mL) PC Corn Flakes
2 tbsp (25 mL) baking gum drops, snipped in half

  1. In microwave safe bowl, combine peanut butter, corn syrup, sugar and butter. Melt uncovered on HIGH for 60 seconds, stirring once, or until smooth. Stir in vanilla and food colouring until uniform in colour.
  2. Place corn flakes in large bowl; lightly crush, keeping some large bits. Pour peanut butter mixture over top; fold in until evenly coated. Allow to rest 10 minutes.
  3. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Oil hands with cooking spray or vegetable oil. Form each 2 tbsp (25 mL) mixture into a tree or wreath. Place on prepared baking sheets; decorate with gum drops. Place in refrigerator; chill at least 15 minutes to firm up before serving. Store in refrigerator in airtight container for up to 3 days.

Chef's Tips

Instead of baking gum drops, you can use your favourite small candies to decorate.
