This retro dish will take you back to the local Italian joint of old. Very little “cooking” required!

1 jar (700 mL) PC Sweet Basil Pasta Sauce
12 PC Large Fully Cooked Homestyle Meatballs
1 pkg (450 g) PC Splendido Spaghetti
3 tbsp (45 mL) PC Splendido Grated Parmesan Cheese - 100% Italian
2 tbsp (25 mL) chopped fresh parsley


  1. Pour pasta sauce into microwave-safe bowl. Cover and microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes or until very hot. Leave covered.
  2. Place meatballs in large microwave-safe dish. Microwave uncovered on HIGH for 3-1/2 minutes or until hot. Cover and keep warm.
  3. In large saucepan of boiling water, cook spaghetti for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender but firm. Drain and return to saucepan. Add heated sauce and toss to coat. Divide among six warmed pasta bowls. Top each portion of pasta with two meatballs and 1-1/2 tsp (7 mL) Parmesan. Garnish with parsley.

Chef's Tips

Substitute a jar of your favourite PC pasta sauce.
