Ingredients

1 lb (500 g) green beans, trimmed and halved
2 tbsp (25 mL) PC Roasted Garlic Olive Oil
1/4 cup (50 mL) no name Breadcrumbs
1/4 cup (50 mL) no name Pine Nuts, coarsely chopped
1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt

Instructions

  1. In large pot of boiling, salted water, cook beans for 4 to 5 minutes or until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
  2. In large frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat; cook breadcrumbs, pine nuts and salt for 2 minutes, stirring constantly, or until breadcrumbs are golden. Add green beans; cook for a few minutes, tossing to combine, or until beans are heated through.

Chef's Tips

Substitute No name Whole Almonds, chopped, for the pine nuts, if you prefer.
