Two childhood favourites- peanut butter & banana and peanut butter & jam- joined together and made even better by pan-frying until golden and oozing. Yum!

Additional Information


  1. Spread peanut butter over two slices of bread. Spread jam over other two slices. Divide banana slices evenly between peanut butter-covered slices. Top with other two bread slices, jam side down.
  2. Spread margarine over both sides of sandwich. Heat large nonstick frying pan over medium heat. Cook sandwiches for 45 seconds per side or until lightly brown on both sides.
  3. Cut in half. Serve warm.

Chef's Tips

To make spreading chilled peanut butter easier, place measured amount in small bowl and stir vigorously.
