Ingredients

2 tbsp (25 mL) PC Blue Menu Celeb Margarine with Olive Oil
1 can (213 g) PC Blue Menu Wild Pacific Sockeye Salmon drained and mashed
4 tsp (20 mL) ground PC Seafood Seasoning Grinder
1 pkg (350 g) PC Blue Menu Tricolour Linguini
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
4 tsp (20 mL) no name All Purpose Flour
1 can (385 mL) no name Evaporated Milk

Instructions

  1. In saucepan, melt Celeb over medium heat; cook onions and celery for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until softened. Stir in flour; cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. Gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Boil for 2 to 3 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in salmon and grinder. Set aside
  2. In large pot of boiling, salted water, cook linguine nests for 5 minutes or until tender. Drain.
  3. Stir drained pasta into sauce. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh chives and wedges of lemon, if desired.

 

Chef's Tips

Streamline cook time by bringing the water to a boil for the pasta as you make the sauce.
