Grilled Pineapple Kebabs with Dulce de Leche Cream

Ingredients

1 cup (250 mL) sour cream
1 jar (450 g) PC Dulce de Leche Caramel Creme Spread
1 fresh pineapple, peeled and cut in 2-inch (5 cm) cubes

Instructions

  1. In bowl, stir together sour cream and dulce de leche until well blended. Cover with plastic wrap. Chill until needed. Soak 16 8-inch (20 cm) bamboo skewers in warm water for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat barbecue to medium-high heat.
  3. Lightly oil grill. Thread each skewer with four or five chunks of pineapple. Place skewers on grill. Cook for 12 minutes, turning a quarter turn every 3 minutes, or until grill-marked and slightly softened. Serve immediately with Dulce de Leche Cream.

 

 

Chef's Tips

You can skewer the kebabs and chill, covered, for up to four hours ahead of grilling.

You can buy peeled and cored pineapple in the produce section of the grocery store to speed preparation.
