A few simple changes to a basic recipe- using soy beverage instead of cream in the custard and soy bread instead of baguette- turn a formerly decadent treat into a dish you can serve regularly to your family.

Additional Information


  1. In small saucepan, combine fruit blend and honey. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Cover and hold warm.
  2. In bowl, whisk together eggs, soy beverage and spice grinder. Set aside.
  3. In large nonstick frying pan, melt margarine over medium heat. In two batches, dip bread slices in egg mixture, letting excess egg mixture fall back into bowl; cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side or until golden.
  4. Serve French toast with warm berry mixture.
