Local Community Support

Zehrs Save-A-Tape Program

Our Zehrs Save-A-Tape program is an important way we have a positive impact on local communities. In 2010, we donated more than $475,000 to assist 300 non-profit organizations.

Here's how it works:

"Save-A-Tape" is a grocery receipt redemption program. You need a minimum of $10,000 worth of tapes to participate. For every $450.00 of tapes redeemed, the equivalent of $1.00 is donated to your charity.

Organizations can apply for the program by completing the simple registration form. Click here for registration form.

We want to understand your mission and goals. We also want to know how the money you are requesting will be used and how many people will be impacted. Remember to include a contact name and number in case we have any questions.

Jessica's Footprint

A little girl named Jessica Durigon only lived two days past her first birthday but she continues to make a huge imprint on cancer research.

This year, Jessica's Footprint surpassed the $1 million dollar fundraising goal for brain tumour research at Sick Children's Hospital in Toronto. Zehrs donated $5,000.

We believe in being involved in the community. Each year, our banner lends its support to numerous causes, such as the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign and our Give a Little, Help a Lot campaign.
